Great, I'm glad you're doing okay.
I've been pretty good, dealing with the ups and downs life throws at me.
lol Thanks! I've really been practicing with the camera, but I'm feeling more than ready to graduate from my dad's cam to a much better one with lenses and all kinds of cool stuff. Not sure if I want a traditional film camera or a digital, though.
XD I guess all my practice sketches have paid off. I've been seeing a lot of improvement in my drawings since I joined dA...for all its crappiness, dA has actually done something right!
I actually left dA for a while took down all my art, because the submission agreement didn't protect the artist. Now that it's been changed, I feel better about submitting now, but I'm still really picky. If I think it looks like crap, I won't submit something I've drawn up. I'm also so freakin' sick of n00bs looking at my art and either faving it w/o commenting or pulling this number: "liek, omg u draw horses ur so kewl!" or "omg nice i luv it!
" ugh that is so discouraging!
YES I DID! I went horseback riding with :ketsukei: when she came to visit me this summer. I haven't been since, mostly because of time constraints, money and my parents needing to be home in case something happens to my grandpa, but I'm probably going to go again with my friend Emma, who got home from Japan today. I dunno when we're going, but obviously it has to work with my schedule cuz school just started (ick). I'd really like to go more often, but I think I'll have to ask a friend of mine because she has two horses boarded at one of the best riding stables in the area, and she might let me go riding with her sometime.
